In response to the issuance of the new set of Accounting and Reporting Standards set out by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, BML Munjal University has revamped the BCom Hons programme. This programme is now being offered in association with KPMG, one of the big 4 consulting and advisory organisations in the world. 200 hours of training will be imparted by experts from KPMG, who will share their expertise and case studies from real world business applications. Students will also earn an additional certificate in accounting from KPMG. The 3-year programme relies on innovative learning methodologies, relevant Indian and global business research, and strong industry linkages.
The School of Commerce has a multi-dimensional selection process for assessing an applicant’s suitability for the BCom (Hons) programme. Selection to the programme will be made on the basis of several criteria, including:
Students from all streams (Science, Arts and Commerce) with 65% in the best of 3 subjects are eligible to apply.
For International Baccalaureate (IB): BML Munjal University accepts students from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in all its undergraduate programmes. Students who are enrolled in the IB certificate programme are not eligible to apply to our undergraduate programmes.
Students who are in their final year of school must send us their predicted grades through their counsellor at the time of application. Provisional offers can be made on the basis of predicted grades. Final decisions can be communicated only once we have received the actual board scores of the candidate..
Applicants will have to go through the following process to gain admission into the BCom (Hons) Course at BMU.
The decision to shortlist applicants for personal interview, and make a formal offer of admission thereafter, will be taken by the selection committee, whose decision in this regard will be final and binding..
The fee structure for the 3-year BCom (Hons) programme has 2 components:

– The fees do not include any additional programmes undertaken at BMU
– The fees do not cover expenses incurred for internships, projects and any international trip undertaken during the duration of the programme

– All fees can be paid semester wise

Note: Apartment Type 2 rooms are bigger and more spacious than Apartment Type 1 rooms. For example, the double occupancy room in Apartment Type 2 is 15% bigger than the double occupancy room in Apartment Type 1.

AC Room Charges: Rs 10,000 per room per annum ( to be distributed proportionately based on no of students living in the room)
Food and Laundry Charges: Rs 50,000 per annum
One time security deposit (refundable): Rs 25,000
One time registration charges: Rs 10,000

Disclaimer : Rooms in Apartments and Tower Block will come equipped with bed,mattress,table,chair and almirah only. All other items will need to be arranged by the students themselves.
Common areas in the apartments will have a sofa,table,two chairs,refrigerator, microwave oven and electric kettle only.

BML Munjal University recognises excellence in education and encourages its students to be the best in their chosen field. The university offers ‘E2’scholarships* to selected students in 8 separate disciplines who have consistently performed well and have been the top rank holders in their respective cohorts.
Educate to Empower ‘E2’ scholarships will cover tuition, boarding, and lodging costs. In the first year, scholarships worth 35 lakhs were awarded to the deserving students.

BML Munjal University offers ‘Hamari Pari’ scholarships* to meritorious female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have maintained an exemplary academic record throughout their 1st year at the university.
