About the Conference
A rapidly changing economic environment, technological advancements, shifting demographics, widening skills gap and myriad other global and workforce trends have completely changed the business and management landscape today, especially in developing nations such as India. In such a complex and uncertain marketplace the biggest challenge facing organizations is to identify access and manage talent, and to build and sustain a strong talent pipeline. It is now imperative for companies to rethink their approach to talent management, moving away from the traditional recruitment, training and development, and performance management mandates, and identify innovative and integrative ways to attract, hire, develop and retain talent. In fact, talent management has become a strategic business imperative for organizations in the 21st century.
In this backdrop, this conference, being organised by the School of Management at BML Munjal University, in association with NHRDN, aims to provide a conducive forum for exchange and dissemination of latest research studies and industry practices on the advances and developments in the area of talent management and transformation, among academicians, research scholars, practicing consultants, corporate professionals and students. It is hoped that participants, through conceptual or empirical research papers and case studies, would exchange their knowledge, experience and innovative ideas on current thoughts, techniques, and trends on the entire spectrum of this area - viz. talent acquisition, talent development and talent retention.
