Prior to joining BMU, Dr. Yarramaneni was with Echelon Institute of Technology and Lingaya’s University located at Faridabad, Haryana.
Dr. Yarramaneni registered for PhD with the Department of Physics, Kurukshetra University while working at the Regional Engineering College (presently known as National Institute of Technology), Kurukshetra as a Junior Research Fellow and then Senior Research Fellow in a Government of India funded R&D project. He received his PhD on 17th February 2006. He has also worked as a lecturer for almost seven semesters in the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. Dr. Yarramaneni has attended several conferences, short term training programmes, and faculty development programmes. His research interest is in the area of conducting polymers. He also attended a summer school on “Astrophysical Plasmas” organized by the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. In addition to teaching, Dr. Yarramaneni is a regular contributor to curriculum development and laboratory development along with conducting examinations at college and university levels. He is motivated by the opportunity to be at BMU and participate in and develop its innovative and challenging teaching-learning system .
Dr. Yarramaneni is a life member of the Indian Physics Association, Indian Association of Physics Teachers, Indian Science Congress, Materials Research Society of India and Nuclear Track Society of India.
