Dr. Ziya Uddin did his post doctorate from Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis, Valenciennes, France. He received his PhD in mathematics with minor in computer science from the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Dr. Ziya has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in the world. Prior to joining BMU, he has taught and conducted research at ICFAI University Dehradun, ITM University Gurgaon and Galgotias University, Greater Noida.
Dr. Ziya’s central focus of research is computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and cooling of industrial machinery and electronic devices using waste industrial fluids, micro-fluids and nano-fluids. In addition, he is also interested in optimization, financial mathematics, flow in porous media and the mathematical modelling of various industrial problems. His research has been presented and published in various national and international conferences and in journals of international repute.
He is a life time member of the International Association of Engineers and of the Thermal Society of France. Dr. Ziya has been an active participant and reviewer of several international journals such as the International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Meccanica, Thermal Science – Scientific Journal, Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, Scientia Iranica, Jordan Journal of Mechanical and Industrial engineering, International Journal of Energy & Technology, International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Processing & Pattern Recognition.
In addition to the above, he loves photography, travelling and listening music.
