BBA Overview

In the current global context, the School believes that professionals must exhibit both competence and character- competence to achieve business objectives and character to make ethical choices. The School is committed to developing these qualities in its students.

Co-designed by Imperial College London Business School, BMU’s innovative BBA programme offers a new vision for business education. Based on an interdisciplinary and integrated curriculum, with a team-based, problem solving and hands-on learning environment, the BBA programme prepares its students for the corporate world. Students will graduate with practical knowledge and skills that will help them set the highest possible standards at the workplace. For example, they will learn how to analyse business environments, devise business plans, work in cohesive teams and think up effective solutions to real problems.

‘BBA Fee Structure: 2016-2019’

The fee structure for the 3-year BBA programme has 2 components:

Note: Apartment Type 2 rooms are bigger and more spacious than Apartment Type 1 rooms. For example, the double occupancy room in Apartment Type 2 is 15% bigger than the double occupancy room in Apartment Type 1.

Note : The above costs are annual costs.

Common Charges
AC Room Charges: Rs 10,000 per room per annum ( to be distributed proportionately based on no of students living in the room)
Food and Laundry Charges: Rs 50,000 per annum
One time security deposit (refundable): Rs 25,000
One time registration charges: Rs 10,000
Electricity would be charged on actuals
Only apartments are available for girls.

Disclaimer : Rooms in Apartments and Tower Block will come equipped with bed,mattress,table,chair and almirah only. All other items will need to be arranged by the students themselves.

Please Note:

  • Limited scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the above criteria and interview performance at the sole discretion of the Admissions Committee.
  • Scholarships are not guaranteed to all the candidates fulfilling the criteria
  • There are a limited number of scholarships which will be served on a first come first served basis.
  • All scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the selection committee only after a final offer of admission is made and accepted
  • Terms and conditions apply – to maintain scholarship, students will have to a) maintain a CGPA above 7.5, b) attain above 80% attendance, and c) face no disciplinary action throughout the entirety of the programme

Hero MotoCorp Educate to Empower ‘E2’ Scholarship

BML Munjal University recognises excellence in education and encourages its students to be the best in their chosen field. The university offers ‘E2’scholarships* to selected students in 8 separate disciplines who have consistently performed well and have been the top rank holders in their respective cohorts.

Educate to Empower ‘E2’ scholarships will cover tuition, boarding, and lodging costs. In the first year, scholarships worth 35 lakhs were awarded to the deserving students.

HERO MotoCorp ‘Hamari Pari’ Scholarship

BML Munjal University offers ‘Hamari Pari’ scholarships* to meritorious female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have maintained an exemplary academic record throughout their 1st year at the university.

In the first year, scholarships worth 25 lakhs were awarded to the deserving students.

How to Apply

Application forms for the BBA programme are available free of cost. The application form can be downloaded from BMU’s website (www.bml.edu.in/apply) or obtained from:

As part of an application, applicants are required to provide the following:

  • Completed application form with relevant enclosures
  • A completed statement of purpose
  • Application fee of Rs. 1500 (Online Payment)

Please courier completed application form along with relevant enclosures and application fee (cash receipt/demand draft payable in New Delhi) to BML Munjal University, 502-B, 5th Floor, Rectangle One, Saket District Centre, Saket, New Delhi 110017. Syllabus for BBA Courses

The programme comprises of 6 foundation, 16 core, 5 elective, 7 skill and 6 perspective courses.

A brief description of BBA Courses is given below:

Foundation Courses

The foundation courses will refresh and strengthen a student’s understanding of subjects like Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics for Business and Business Analytics.

Core Courses

Core courses in the BBA programme will help students grasp theory and business fundamentals, building a firm bedrock of understanding in fields such as Industry, Accounting, Organisational Behaviour, Management, Marketing and Business law.

Elective Courses

Elective courses will give students the flexibility to extend their learning to subjects beyond the core. They will have the option to study courses such as Cost Accounting, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, Materials and Inventory Management.

Skill Courses

Besides acquiring discipline-related technical competencies, students will also acquire a range of life skills needed to be successful at the workplace: Presenting, Communicating, Critical Reasoning, Etiquette and Conversing, Problem Solving and Consulting.

Perspective Courses

Perspective courses will help students see the larger picture, contextualise problems correctly and acquire a better understanding of the core. Some examples of such courses are World Civilisations, Joy of Innovation, Philosophy and Logic.

Internship

Students would be required to undergo two internships. First would be after completion of semester 2 and second would be after completion of semester 4. During the first internship the students would make a visit to an organization for 2 weeks and would be required to interact with the business executives there. The second internship would be for 6 weeks and the students would work on an assigned project with an organization. The project would enable the student to learn about multi-disciplinary aspects of business administration.
