Associate Professor – Psychology
Dr. Kumar has over 12 years of experience in teaching, training and research in behavioural sciences. He has been awarded doctorate in psychology from University of Rajasthan, and has qualified UGC-NET in 2001. His subjects of interest include psychometric testing and assessment, applied psychology, organizational behaviour and positive psychology. He has published over a dozen research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. His current area of research is spiritual and emotional intelligence.
Prior to joining BMU as associate professor, he has worked with MRIU, Amity University, SRM University, and the Indian Institute of Health Management & Research, Jaipur. He played a key role in the social assessment programme for the Karnataka Health Systems Development Project, and concurrent assessment programme for the ICDS-III project. He is a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association. He was the editor of Journal of Human and Work Management, and associate editor of Amity Journal of Applied Psychology. He has been actively undertaking management development and training programmes for management professionals, defence scientists and defence personnel.
