The thrust of 21stcentury education is to embed experiential learning principles in the teaching curriculum, not only to enhance college/university students’ independent learning skills, but also to augment student engagement and their overall learning experience. This seminar is structured to enhance participants’ understanding of the unique learning landscape of students and the relevance of creating experiential learning opportunities to meet students’ diverse needs. The workshop facilitators will also describe and critique the use of immersive teaching resources (such as storyboard narratives, animated videos and panel discussion videos) as used in their own teaching practices to develop students as critical thinkers.
