‘Be a Hero’ – A workshop on experiential learning
At the Regional Round, the students will get to explore their interests, creativity and their talent through fun filled experiential experiments and activities. This is intended to allow the students to explore the Hero within them in the field of Science, Technology, Art and Heritage. The students would also get an opportunity to listen to success stories from young innovators who have made a difference in the lives of people using their innovation.
Number of participants: Participating schools are required to send at least 5 students to attend the workshop.

Schools are required to register students and submit their entries on any one/all of the themes listed below.

- An idea that changed my life
- An idea that changed the life of people around me
- An idea we think could change the world
Ideas could center around innovations in the field of social issues, education, environment protection, consumer innovation products, frugal innovations, conservation of Indian heritage and culture, etc.
Participation Guidelines for the Innovation Contest:
Mode of Presentation (At regional levels): working models, prototypes, mobile application layouts, multi-media presentations, videos etc.
Participation: Group participations or individual participations from students of classes XI and XII are allowed.
*Group Entry: Minimum 4 members
Criteria for Assessment: Creativity and Innovation, Communication and Collaboration, Research, Critical Thinking, Resourcefulness and Use of Technology
*The entries will be examined and judged at the Regional Venue.
